【国际部】师生同牵风筝线 追逐梦想与蓝天

                              ——哈美加外校国际部风筝大赛

Let’s all go flya kite and see our dreams soar high as the sky !

“一年一度春草绿，又见纸鸢满园飞”。风筝在我国已拥有二千多年的历史，它渗透着中华民族的传统文化，也承载着人们对美好生活的向往和憧憬。为了弘扬中华民族文化，给学生一个自我展示的平台，激发学生对中华传统文化和生活的热爱，2017年4月13日下午，哈美加外校国际部举行了风筝大赛。

On April 13^th, today marked the inaugural Kite Festivities Day at the Harbin American Canadian Foreign Language School. The day was filled with various celebrations and was visibly a major success for all students and faculty involved. The festivities were held as a way to unite in celebration of our rich and proud Chinese heritage.

微风轻拂，蓝天白云仿佛都在为此次比赛而雀跃着、期待着。此次活动由我校国际部学生会精心组织、策划、实施，国际部学生全员参加，共组成了14支参赛队伍。本次大赛分为两个环节，即制作风筝和放飞风筝。同学们拿出事先准备好的材料进行分工，整个制作过程有条不紊的进行着，最后14支参赛队伍都在规定时间内完成了风筝的制作。精美的风筝引得学生们赞不绝口，学生们的创造力以及动手能力让人赞叹。风筝制作完成后，同学们便迫不及待地放飞着手中的风筝，也飞快奔跑着。只见天空中凌空飞起各种各样的风筝，像彩蝶在空中翩翩起舞，像长龙在空中遨游。绚丽多彩的风筝吸引了学生们好奇的目光，笑容浮现在他们的脸上宛如一朵朵灿烂盛开的太阳花。风筝一个接着一个飞上天空，场外的孩子们似乎比选手们还着急，他们时而屏息凝望，时而欢呼鼓掌，时而唏嘘不已。比赛精彩纷呈，场面热闹极了。

Dozensof kites had been delicately and masterfully handcrafted over the past several weeks by fourteen dedicated teams comprised of none other than the outstanding students of HACFLS in the hopes that they would be able to fly them high, allowing them to soar majestically amongst the sunfilled skies of Songbei. Flying alongside these noble kites, quite literally, were the hopes and dreams of our distinguished students. Students had the opportunity to write down their most desirable aspirations on the material used to design these high-flying vessels of unrivaled ambition .

放飞希望、追梦蓝天。学生们放飞的是风筝，同时也在放飞自己的梦想。风筝上承载着他们对未来美好生活的向往与期待，承载着他们心中的美好愿望。学生们在此次比赛中既感受到了中华民族的传统文化，同时也收获了自信、懂得了合作。在一次次的精彩中，学生们也在一天天成长、进步。相信通过今后不断的努力，他们必会取得傲人的成绩，灿烂的未来。

Kite day was a massive success for HACFLS, a school that can also proudly boast the province’s largest international department. A multitude of smiles and cheers could be seen and heard all around the Olympic standard racetrack and allowed all those involved to see the true gem that is HACFLS - none of this would have been possible without the undying dedication and fortitude of the HACFLS faculty . The students learned an innumerable amount of invaluable values on this special day- not the least of which was “let’s all go fly a kite”.
