【国际部】走进哈美加外校国际部,感受卓尔不群​——哈美加外校国际部开放日活动

　　2017年5月9日下午，哈美加外校国际部举行了一场别开生面的开放日活动，吸引了众多的家长前来参观体验。此次国际部开放日活动形式采取了English Salon的形式。English Salon 共设有四个话题分别为Travel and Culture，Technology，Climate Change，Sports and Outdoor Activity。学生可以根据自己的兴趣爱好选择喜欢的话题与小伙伴们一起讨论学习。

　　                              1.Travel & Culture　　

    The topic designed by foreign teacher Kurt was “Travel & Culture”, attracting most of the students in the International Department.Students talked and shared their ideas with one another actively, and learned a lot about travel, customs and culture.

                                2.Technology

  Class started with a brainstorm for the word “technology”, students came up with many excellent ideas in the following discussion. After watching a short video and sharing opinions the students conducted a passionate discussion on various issues concerning technology.

　　                             3.Climate Change

  Foreign teacher Alan organized an English Salon about the topic of “Climate Change”. Alan gave a presentationabout the six aspects of climate change: the greenhouse effect,smog,sandstorms,floods and temperature and precipitation. After getting the main idea, students were divided into five groups to hold a team discussion. Each group then presented their opinions in front of the class.

                                4.Sports & Outdoor Activity

　　    All students who love sports learned and discussed together under the guidance of Canadian teacher Alex. They were engaged by Alex's knowledge of sports. In this salon, students shared their favorite sports with each other and discussed

the benefits and risks of doing sports.
