【国际部】捷报！哈美加外校国际部学子首战澳大利亚科学竞赛（BSC）斩获佳绩

今年5月，澳大利亚科学竞赛（BSC）强势登陆哈美加
全球最大理工科综合竞赛
每年近45万名同学参赛
涵盖物理、化学、生物、地球与空间科学等学科
2019年5月4日，澳大利亚科学竞赛（BSC）中国黑龙江赛区在哈美加外校举行。我校国际部共有27名同学参赛，其中有14名同学获奖，分别为一等奖1人，二等奖7人，三等奖6人。国际部今年首次参加澳大利亚科学竞赛就获得如此优异的成绩，开创了我校科学竞赛一个好的开端。
The Australian science competition (Big ScienceCompetition, BSC-Heilongjiang Area) is held in HACFLS international departmenton May 4, 2019. 27 students from our school took part in this competition.Finally, our students got excellent results a total of 14students won the prize: 1 for High Distinction, 7 for Distinction and 6 forCredit.
澳大利亚科学竞赛（BigScience Competition, BSC）由澳大利亚科学创新学会（AustralianScience Innovation, ASI）主办。ASI总部设在澳大利亚国立大学，同时也是澳大利亚物理、化学、生物奥赛的主办方，每年选择选拔和培训澳大利亚国家队参加世界物理、化学、生物奥赛。
BSC is Sponsored by Australian ScienceInnovation (ASI). ASI is based at the Australian national university and is theorganizer of the Australian physical, chemical and biological Olympiad, whichselects and trains the Australian national team to participate in the worldphysical, chemical and biological Olympiad each year.
澳大利亚科学竞赛由一线科学家和教育家出题，运用从小学到高中的相关理工科理论知识，涵盖物理、化学、生物、地球与空间科学等学科，来探讨和学习各类科学前沿问题。激发和鼓励同学综合性运用各学科知识去探索和解决现实问题。
The Australian science competition isset up by front-line scientists and educators to explore and learn variouscutting-edge scientific issues by applying relevant theoretical knowledge ofscience and engineering from primary school to high school, covering physics,chemistry, biology, earth and space science and other disciplines.

In the international department, greatattention is paid to cultivating students' ability to find, analyze and solveproblems. In the process of learning various subjects, students need toexplore, innovate, communicate and cooperate, which are beyond the reach oftraditional teaching mode and can effectively promote the all-round improvementof students' comprehensive quality.Harbin American-Canadian Foreign Languageschool will continue to introduce more useful and interesting internationalcompetitions in the future to expand students' thinking and vision.
